Much has happened. Ever since Chinatown we have been in journey around the city, jumping from community to community, tasting new food, and generally enjoying ourselves.
After the night at Chinatown we headed off to see live performance of Chinese dance at the outdoor theater. The performance was beyond beautiful and such a magical experience. After visiting the Chinese community we came back to home base to celebrate our campus Fall Festival. We had such a blast dressing up, decorating our booth and raising funds for our club. By the end of the night all 12 of us shoved into a photo booth, took ridiculous pictures and danced the night away to cumbias. Following, we went to the flea market where we ate tunas, aguas frescas, churros and tacos. There was much food, much walking, and plenty of enjoying. Afterwards we passed by to an Asian bakery where we tried some new bread such as taro, red bean, and espresso. Since then we have been brewing plans for the future. Perhaps a trip to future culture festivals or to other communities within our area. Who knows what the future holds for our cultural adventures but we are sure they will just keep getting better and better. Comments are closed.
